I'm Officially Retired!! Yahoo!
 

My last day of work was Sept 9th! There were some loose ends to tie up in Ca, and I'm done. Just like that!! I am exhausted and excited and don't know what to do next. It felt like this day would never come!

Tomorrow is my Birthday the big "65", so we plan to celebrate with a cruise next week. But right now I am just happy to not get on another plane for awhile. 52 flights a year x 9.5 yrs.....That's enough for me for a good long time.

Gotta change my Avatar to reflect my current life of leisure!! Glad to be among you and with my fabulous husband on a full time basis!! It is fabulous to have a blank calendar at which to stare!!!

I am right behind you.....16 more days then the sale of my business is complete. Will stay on during transition until end of November then....I can meet Dotti and ya'll at the pool or the square or...well you get the picture.

Congrats!!! I tried it, had to go back to work for the insurance, 5 more years till I'm medicare age. Insurance costs jumped to over $1200... thank you Obamacare, but that's another topic.
