Install In-Floor Safe
 

I purchased a in-floor safe for my home and need an installer....someone who can chisel a hole in cement. Does anyone have a recommendation as to who I can contact regarding such a job.

I suspect it will take more than a chisel. You will probably need to have a concrete borer or a modified jack hammer....unless your safe is very very thin. I almost had a stroke the first time I had a floor safe installed.

TD Concrete..Company . the floor will need to be sawed... and dirt dug out... insect sprayed and formed for new concrete poured and sized for the new safe and installed and some type of cover made.. more work at this point than from new construction... but do able

BE VERY CAREFUL WHO YOU USE. They will know you have a safe and everyone they know will know also. And Don't set the empty safe box out with the garbage on the street and advertise your purchase. Check with who you bought your safe from, they should have someone to do it that can be trusted.

T&D Concrete Company said they could not do it to an existing structure....only new construction.

Considering the work necessary to install a safe in the floor in an existing home, I would have considered one that bolts to the floor. Less work, no mess, similar results.

akes time but its not that hard. I WOULD NOT SAW the floor dust will be everywhere.
