Amenities Card and Library
 

My wife has a question that I cannot answer. We rent in The Villages every winter. Does the Amenities Card that we receive with our CYV include being able to borrow and return books to the Library in The Villages? Thanks.

You need a library card. If you are renting in TV you can go to a Villages library and see if they will allow you to get a card using that address.

As long as you are renting for more than thirty days, you can get a library card. Less than thirty, no go. You'll have to show them your ID card and driver's license from your home state. At least that was the policy at belvedere branch.

I think you can use the little unofficial library by Paradise Rec Center with a renters card.

The Mark Twain Library also requires you be renting for thirty days or more but few of the volunteers really check ID card dates.
