Clip Art/Icons?
 

Where do some of you get all the additional clip artwork that is used in responses? It helps add so much to other wise expressionless type.

Good question! I've found sites with clip art and animated Smileys. I can insert pictures and non-animated clip art, but can't figure out how to work with the animated ones.
Maybe this can be another one of the Talk Host lessons for us?

Donna gave me this site a while ago, but I'll be darned, I still can't work with them like she can. I do believe it is an "art" being creative with smiley's, like Donna and some of the other peeps.

Hey DickY, hope you are enjoying your well deserved retirement in paradise. May I ask you on the smileys do you have to upload through photo bucket to get them into a thread? Thanks, Johnny

I will be in TV on the 16th of April, still finishing up post retirement stuff. On the Smileys, when you click on one the code is on the bottom with {img} on each end. just copy the whole code and paste into your post. You have to do a lot of back and forth but the results are fun. Do a preview to check.

I use many sites: millan.net, smiley central, animations.com, animation library, and one from France that is my all time favorite (however, I left that url at home in Michigan and since I'm now in TV can't access it without a search). I probably have 20 icon sites I frequent in order to find the exact right one I'm looking for.

Just remember to copy them to your hard drive first then access them on Photobucket to save, copy, and use here!

Thanks Bright. Very helpful information. Meantime, I should be doing my taxes and I'm playing around with smiley's.... some day I'll learn my priorities!

I'll try those sites and I'll do the last thing you mentioned about Photobucket but I think it will take me some time. I'm not that computer literate but I like trying.

Aren't you glad your in TV? Are you having a great time? Hope so.

I live for my visits to TV especially the summer when I'm here for 2 months. I'll put up with the heat anytime just as long as I'm here. I'm already feeling more relaxed after just 2 hours at our home.

Our plane landed in Orlando about 5:15 after a half hour air delay due to storms. Our drive to TV was through torrential downpours but we arrived safely. I was white knuckled most of the way and I wasn't even the driver! LOL
