Sumter County is sponsoring a Collection of household electronics and hazardous waste materials on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at The Villages Sumter County Service Center at 7375 Powell Road, Wildwood, Fl.

I am glad that some folks have responded to this announcement of household electronics and hazardous waste that is being collected from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. October 25, Villages Sumter County Service Center (front parking lot), 7375 Powell Road, Wildwood, Fl. When I first heard about this collection date, someone in Sumter County told me it was being co-sponsored by TWO of the local counties. They may have said Marion County is co-sponsoring the event. Please call and ask that question: 352-569-6700. And, PLEASE remind your neighbors/friends about this important event. We DO NOT want these materials to be thrown out in the WRONG way! Queen
