American Legion Dance
 

I went to the Legion dance last night where there was a good crowd, terrific music provided by a multi-talented guy called "Solid Gold" and plenty of men & women to dance with. They have two mixers with about 5 songs in each so it's another good way to meet some nice people. The entrance cost is $10 and they have a small bar with cheaply priced drinks.

They said they would have the dance most Sundays, but sometimes it's booked for other affairs. It's located at Rolling Acres Road & 466 east of Morse Blvd. Starting time is 7 and it ends at 10. I'm sorry I don't have the phone number handy. Everyone was dressed very nicely - no shorts or t-shirs.

yes, this is the same dance that was at Recreation Plantation during the summer months...always a good time for serious dancers. thanks for posting!
