golf balls at market nite
Has anyone had any experience with the market nite golf balls? Are they worth using?
thanks in advance |
They have to work better than the brand new Titleists that I am now using.
|
I use them all the time with no problems. Good value.

Have bought the Titleist Velocity balls from him and they are just fine. Can't tell the difference from out of the box
|
They probably work ok, unless they were sitting at the bottom of a pond for a long time. Some refurbishers spray a clear coating on the balls to make them look shiny and "new". Manufacturers hate this, since it fills in the dimples slightly and affects aerodynamics. However, as we all know, a Titleist Pro-V1 will never make it over the pond, but a red-stripe range ball always will.

Unless you at a zero handicap..do not worry about it!

THAT is the most valid statement ever made on this forum!:pepper2: |
We use them all the time. They are a great value. Some are used, but many appear to be new balls from overruns of logo balls, etc.
|
I also use them. They are a great value. Only downside is that they always seem to find the ponds or water hazards when I try to hit over them :)

I buy my recycled Prov's at Walmart and they work out to $1.50 or so per ball. They are supposed to be AAA grade but occasionally there is on in the box that is only at best a AA. That said, I have been using Callaway Supersoft balls that are great and I find they perform just about as good as Prov 1's for me. |
I just pick up buckets of Callaway's off my lawn every year.
Aren't these supposed to be the good ones, that fly straight? I should take up golf, one of these days... |
