Cell phone reception in The Villages
 

I would like to know what cell phone companies get good reception in TV. I had a metro pcs plan that worked great elsewhere, but I don't get reception in The Village of Pinellas. I need total Villages reception, of course.... What works well for all y'all? :wave:

i had verizon for several years....worked very good.....i just switched a few months ago to cricket which uses at&t towers....excellent rates and very good coverage

I switched from tmobile to verizon and get great reception throughout. I live in lake Deaton.

I have AT&T and it works throughout The Villages

Verizon is BEST hands down. Never a problem, here 5 years.

Lived here 12 years and no problems at all with my ATT service anywhere in The Villages. I have even gotten reception in buildings where people with Verizon and Sprint could not get reception and I did, no problem at all.

Had no problems with Sprint in So. Fl. but here NOT GOOD!

Going to be switching real soon.

I have ATT in Charlotte. Had to get a micro cell tower from ATT to get reception. I now have full bars.

Verizon has good coverage here plus when we vacation throughout the US it seems to have the best coverage.

Never a problem with AT&T here in The Villages anywhere.

I live in Fernandina - we all have different companies - regardless, at times none of them work great - from what I understand it seems that reception is a problem in some of these areas - Pinellas is not far from where we are - example, my neighbor just purchased a new Verizon phone and at times calls drop.

Same for me in Sanibel. The Micro Cell makes a big difference. You can get them at the ATT store, but I picked mine up used on eBay.

I also use Cricket. Great prices. Taxes included in Price which for me is $45/month. Owned by ATT and uses ATT towers.
