Club Car Will Not Charge
The meter on the charger doesn't move when I plug it in. I first thought it was my charger, but my charger works just fine on a friend's Club Car.
The batteries are less than two years old and the water level is fine. Any ideas or recommendations for a local repair person is appreciated. UPDATE: Thanks to a fellow ToTV member, I found the source of my problem: The GFI outlet is bad! When I reset it, the green light came on and, well, I assumed it was okay. Not! I just plugged something in to the GFI outlet and nothing. Resetting the panel breaker didn't help, so I'll replace the GFI outlet tomorrow. I just plugged the charger into that second outlet and it started to charge. Happy Sunday! Thanks! Dan |
Glad to hear you found the issue.

:rant-rave:My trojan batteries are 12 months old and only charge to 75% when the charger shuts off. I have 2 chargers and the end result is the same, 75%. I now only get 20 miles on a charge. Any idea what the problem could be?

On that model there could be one of two problems.
A rectifier in the charger or the carts charge computer not performing properly. I would start with bench testing the charger. |
