Cuba Has Missiles Pointing Toward US???

David Lory VanDerBeek is running for governor of Nevada. He has said that Cuba has nuclear missiles aimed at the USA and that there are Russians training in America. I have not heard of this before watching this. Is this true?
He is saying a lot I have never heard before. Can a politician lie about items that hurt another mans reputation without being held accountable?

I really don't mean to sound sarcastic, but it is better to ask if a politician can tell the truth......

The Supreme Court has opined on your exact question. Yes, they can lie. It is protected free speech. And not just may politicians lie, PACs and parties may also with impunity. One vernacular term for this is "Swift Boating"

How can you tell if a politician is lying???

Check if his lips are moving!!

Sad state of affairs for this country when elections come, both National and Statewide, there are no clear or viable choices. Even when voting for "The lesser of two Evils", that is a difficult decision to make.

You are more likely to get the truth by asking your dog if this is true than you will from asking any politician.

Just do a little research! Go to this guy's web page and then send him a carton of Reynolds Wrap for his tin foil hat!

politics is a lawyer based profession.
Most lawmakers are lawyers or multi millionares employing lawyers.

They are not only protected by the courts they know how to use the courts.
They are trained to know when and how to either use, abuse or hide behind the letter of the law.

Is it any wonder to ANYBODY they run this country the way they see fit to their andvantage and the advantage of their supporters and special interest groups.

These are supposed to be representatives of we the people. And if you believe that one I have a couple of bridges and a rubber shovel to sell.

Even the well intended newbies elected from time to time become victims and perpetrtators of the current cronie system.

For a start, there is a lot of misinformation on Youtube.
It's not the best website on which to rely if you're trying to make political decisions.
This guy is merely trying to get some attention.

For what its worth someone very close to me was serving in Gitmo Bay, Cuba during the missile crisis and the general impression was that Russia never really did remove their military hardware once both America and Russia stood down.

The politician was probably looking at the CD disk from the year he was born............and the headlines from the previously mentioned cold war......
