how much life in years can one expect to get out of a 4 seater ele. cart. with 6 8volt batterys. thanks

Depends on how often and how far you travel. The distance you can travel will start to diminish after 1 1/2-2 1/2 years as the batteries age. Rule of thumb batteries need replacement every 3 1/2 to 4 years if you want to keep the amount of miles traveled per charge up. These are the reasons I changed to a gas cart.
