Can VA Contractor License replace FL
 

My friend's husband was a contractor (Licensed) in VA. They moved here recently, but has discovered he needs a FL license pertaining to each discipline. Does anyone know if he can simply obtain a FL license by submitting his VA one as proof of certification.

Personally, I wouldn't want a contractor who had only transferred a license, since specs are different from state to state.
