Organization to donate toiletries to
 
Our neighborhood is collecting toiletries for the month of November and was wondering if anyone had a place we might donate them to. I know we could do Operation Shoebox and the local food pantry but was wondering if there were any other suggestions for places in need of toiletries. I have called a few places but have had no luck. Thanks for any suggestions

How about Salvation Army in Leesburg? Very good organization.

The Backpack Program for the children who are homeless in the Ocala forest. These items are always desperately needed. Call Gail Lazenby 352 205 8290 or 352 454 2669 not sure which one is still relevant as he retired from Emergency Services.

Another alternative is to find a shelter for abused women.
