Golf cart dog seat
 

Has anyone found a dog seat for the golf cart in lieu of a full rear seat ?

I don't think this is precisely what you're looking for but it is a seat specifically designed for golf carts. It looks like it could be set up to use in the back seat of a golf cart.

That's very close to what I have which has a strap you can use to connect the seat to the golf cart as well as an inside restraint which you snap onto the dog's collar.

Saw some of these dog seats the last time I was in Paws for a Moment which is across from Crispers on CR101 at 11962 CR101 Oxford (352) 259-7616.

I have two dogs, 10 lbs and 70 lbs. I spent a lot of time training them on quiet interior streets, so they would understand they are never to jump out of the golf cart no matter what inticing things they see (like squirrels and cats.) However as a safety precaution, when we go out cruising in the golf cart, I put harnesses on them (safer than collars) and fasten the leash to the cart. They love their golf cart rides.

I have seen platforms on the back of golf carts that carry dogs. One had a German shepherd and another had a St. Bernard on it.
