Please Need Suggestions - the retractable screen in the storm door does not come down
 

About 5 or 6 years ago we bought one of these storm doors that has the retractible screen in it. This morning we woke up to seeing the screen no longer comes down. My guess is over the years it may have dry rotted and is now stuck up in the little canister at the top. MY question is does anyone have any suggestion as to who to call to possibly fix this if it is even fixable? Thanks for any suggestions.

The first step I would take is to contact whoever you purchased the screen door from.

Google is your friend. Try a Google search for problems with the screen on that brand door to see if others have had the same problem and how they fixed it.

Thanks everyone! Actually hubby too a part off at the top and got the screen down...LOL was very easy, at least it working now! Thank you all for your suggestions!
