Or is there some type of show at 9 AM? Thanks, I'm hoping to see you there. |
I'm going to try to make it.

Its an open house and you can wander in and out at your discretion. The entertainment goes on all day and the food is always accessible. Come in, wander around, and chat with Patrick or some of the ranch hands about the animals and their history, its quite exciting to hear their stories. Can't wait to see you again, (and Shcisamax, too). |
Bump!!
|
I am quite sure there are amazing stories. Most people don't know what goes on and why we need people involved in rescue. Besides, I need a velvet nose fix :)
|
We went a couple of years ago. Had a great time. Good music. Got to feed carrots to the horses and learn their stories. Hubby got to eat....his favorite thing to do. Donated money to help them out, which gave us a good feeling. Met some really nice people. All around a good time.
Note: wear appropriate footwear. It is a farm and thus not paved. |
Will be there.New to the villages, can volunteer
|
Kathiel - this is a wonderful operation and they should be praised for the good work they do. I hope to bring a couple of grandkids. May I suggest you change the name (with good intentions) toHappy Horse Rescue Farm Open "Barn".

Does the event wind down at 1 PM? I'm not looking for pony rides or activities. But if I arrived mid afternoon, would I still be able to walk around and see the horses? |

BTW, your grands will enjoy the new member, Benjamin, a beautiful turkey who is a pet (definitely never to be eaten) and Mr. Pig, who is the most beautiful, largest pig I've ever seen. Its lots of fun there and they will enjoy the pony rides also. Bring lots of carrots and apples. |
