Deep Scratch on Sliding Door Vinyl Window
 

Does anyone know how to repair a deep scratch on a sliding door vinyl window? The scratch isn't all the way through the window but it's pretty deep. The scratch isn't very long but quite noticeable, and I'm afraid the scratch might eventually get bigger.

If I were going to do this, I would look into automotive products for fixing scratches, if this is plexiglas. If you want to fill the scratch, you will need to look into other products. A clear epoxy may work, but these tend to yellow if exposed to sunlight. You may find something at a hobby shop that could be used. If the clear portion of the is glass clear nail polish will fill the scratch and tend to make it disappear. I do not know of anything to actually repair a scratch in glass.
