Shuttle launch tailgate party?
 

Wonder if group would be interested in getting together to party on next shuttle launch? Only about 2.5 hour drive from here.

Eddie, what do you do after the launch? Do you just turn around and drive 2.5 hours home? Please supply more info. Thanks

Good question chelsea, just thought anyone interested could put our heads together and plan pre and post launch activities.
Maybe dinner and drinks?

What a great idea! Count me in.

BTW -- I have a really good portable gas grill we can take for bbqing either pre- or post-launch. I'll also volunteer to make one salad (either pasta or potato).

Eddie, fun idea. I should be there that day and would love to join in and contribute food/grill/ whatever is decided. Coooooool. I've always wanted to see one live.
