Dr. Shams leaving
 

I heard Dr. Shams is leaving Heart of the Villages. Does anyone know where he's going, or why? He sure didn't last long here.

He's one of the few doctors I really like and admire, so am sorry to see him go. But at least I got my ablation out of him already. ;)

I really liked Dr. Shams. I will call the office on Monday and find out if he is leaving.

I was also seeing Dr. Shams. I was to have a follow up appointment and was told by his office he is moving out of state. I really liked him and trusted him, but I do believe all the doctors at this practice are excellent.

I saw him last week. He is moving to Richmond Va to be near family. He did my ablation too but I sure hate to see him go! Honestly, finding, and keeping, good doctors has been my biggest disappointment in TV.

I, too, had a conversation with Dr. Shams and he was offered a terrific position at St. Francis Hospital in Richmond. I am so disappointed that he left (I was there Wednesday which was his last day). He did tell me that another electrophysiologist would be joining Heart of the Villages.

Thanks, rn1tv. That's somewhat good news. Big shoes to fill, though.
