TOTV issue
 

I have been having this issue for a few weeks and it seems to be getting worse. It only happens on TOTV.

Across every line I have been getting words or phrases. Its the same word or phrase throughout the entire TOTV page. The words are in a gold color. There are so many of these words that you can barely make out the posts. Today's phrase is "Log Out". I could barely figure out where to post this thread as there were so many "Log Outs" across the page. Also, the "new post section" is also in gold.

I have logged off TOTV and that hasn't helped. I am usually on TOTV on my iPad and I completely logged off the iPad and came back on -- that didnt help either.

Before the November elections, I was getting miscellaneous ads on TOTV for a congressional candidate here in Michigan and that has stopped. But, I searched for a walker a few weeks ago and I am now getting pop up ads for that walker.

This only happens on TOTV. Does anyone have any ideas on what is going on?

I don't know the answer but I have had several similar issues lately on my IPad. I have had my avatar show up on everyones posts and others avitars show up on everyones posts. At one time I had gold stars all over the pages and I couldn't read anything, and have consistently had issues with the tool bar. I have assumed it is either an IPad issue with compatibility or a TOTV issue with IPads. :cus:

Have you guys upgraded your iPad to the latest iOS 8 ?

Yup, that's when it happened to me. Right after I upgraded, TOTV a is totally jumbled up. It's barely readable.

I'm having the same problems. I go into options and change the background and it's fine for a couple of days then it starts all over again. I have to keep changing the background back and forth.

I use my iPad everyday for TOTV. When I have problems like this I go to Settings, select Privacy, then select Advertising and turn on Limit. Also select Reset Advertising Identifier.

This usually gets rid of any product searches I did in the past where they capture a Cookie (record of what I searched for).

Also try powering down and rebooting completely. Also go to Safari, select History and clear all History.

Done all of this and more. This is not the usual "cookie" problem. It happened imedietly after upgrading to 8.1.1 The problem is not about ads. The whole page(s) are jumbled up.

Have you upgraded to this version?

Give it a few days. Had the same issue several times and after a day or two it cleared up.

Just had it happen 2 days ago and when I just went into TOTV (right now) it was back to normal.

My problems come and go - seem to change from one thing to another arbitrarily. Sometimes looks pretty normal, but will change next time I get on. It is not debilitating, but rather annoying

I am also a yes and yes. But, I haven't tried changing the privacy or Safari settings. I will try that.

I just got on TOTV and its back to normal!!! It hasn't been like this in weeks!!

I did change the advertising settings.

Admin is aware of the problems with iPads on this site and is working on it.

Don't hold your breath....it will get messed up again. Right now I have an avatar of a man on a pier on every single post. A large man with a boat behind him.....everywhere!!!!
