Liver specialists in the surrounding area?
 

Are there any true liver specialists in the area or elsewhere in FL?

Try Google...I did and saw several links. Cleveland Clinic/Florida apparently has some. I'd think Mayo does as well.

Definitely check out Shands in Gainesville. Since they are a teaching hospital, they cover most everything, including being really knowledgeable and able to treat difficult cases.

It's nice to know that we have two such providers (The University of South Florida in Tampa being the other one) within a somewhat reasonable distance.

Try Florida Hospital in Orlando - Transplant Institute. They did a fine job on pre and Post Transplant. Great follow-up care over last 4 years

I have been going there for 4 yrs. and two of the specialist there have been promoted to Division Heads at Cleveland Clinic in Weston Fla..
