Golfing Christmas Day?
Are the executive courses open?
|
Yes, all the courses are open. You make tee times at executive courses, just like every day. The championship courses are free with no tee times, first come, first play.
|
According to the Happy Paper, ALL championship courses are closed on Christmas Day
|
No. We will be Christmasing, Christmas Day.
I can't believe it either. This is how I know Sweetie loves me more than golf. Sometimes I worry. |
which is it?
|
Apparently, someone mis-interpreted the newspaper info. The championship courses are open, but no green fees. There will be starters there to keep order. There will be no carts or club rentals. The golf shops and pools will be closed, At least one member of each foursome desiring to play must have a resident ID. No t-times issued, first come, first serve. Location to sign up at each course for 9 or 18 holes is in the paper.

My Dad and I have played an executive course every Christmas morning. There were no tee times; in fact there are no starters or ambassadors and hopefully not too many other golfers as they are lined up at the championship courses :clap2: |
I work at Executive Courses. They are open but on a first come basis. No starters or ambassadors. Kind of like a free-for-all!
|
Sorry, should have said open with no tee times. All the courses are open.

While bicycling past Riley Grove last year I counted 19 carts waiting to tee off! What a wonderful way to meet your neighbors. In the 5 hours waiting to tee off think how many new friends you'll meet and greet! |
