Honor our Police Officers.
.
A family friend was lost in the line of duty a week ago. We have re-installed the "BLUE" bulb in our outdoor light. It is our small way to remember the fallen officer(s). Generally we have kept them on from Day 1 to one week past the internment. Was hoping to not have to re-install the "BLUE" lights ever again. Perhaps, as a sign of support and appreciation to Law Enforcement Officers, you will join me in turning the BLUE lights on. A small way to show that we care about ALL the Officers who Protect & Serve and to honor those who were recently gunned down and their families. |
Our son is an Officer in Bradenton. Scary times for him and us. Will do the blue light.

I will find a blue light for our pole lamp tomorrow.

I am thinking of a blue ribbon or something similar on the lamp post. We all need to show support for the police officers.

I think I saw the colored CFL lights at ACE hardware stores.

Our son is a member of the SWAT Team with KCPD, please remember him and his teammates in your thoughts and prayers.

Done. You can criticize them and demean them, but they are who you count on and rely on in time of crisis. You can publicly take them to task and offer no vocal or public support, but they WILL be there when needed. |
