Christmas Cards

I seem to remember that there used to be a group or organization that would collect used Christmas Cards. Not sure what they used them for.

Does this still exist?

They collect them at our church, St Mark's The Evangelist and use the cover the following year for tags for the Giving Tree program which identifies gifts for the less fortunate among us.
