Can't wait! Really would like to use non-ethanol gas in the cart.

Anyone know the planned opening date?

Stopped by this morn to checkout the new store---- very nice. Pulled up to gas pump , looked at price, and quickly sped away!!!

No Ethanol Gas for Recreational Vehicles= $3.29 a gal. I am reasonably sure that this is not a case of profiteering, but more a result of small refining runs and distribution issues. That said , I cannot see that the store will garner enough business to continue attracting customers to pay 60per cent more for "Resreational Gas "($3.30/$2.00) over the initial "look-see" period wears off.

I have 2 Gas carts( both nearly 5 yrs old) which I drive into the ground and have not yet experienced even one malfunction related to Regular 87 octane gas useage. It may be that I would experience a slight increase in mileage using No Ethanol, but I doubt that it would be noticeable. :ohdear:

I filled up yesterday at Gordans Garage for $3.29 per gal and was happy to put real 87 octane gas in the cart.
Paying about $.20 more a gal isn't going to break me since I only took 3 Gals. and it will last me 2 weeks or more. It was kind of neat pulling up to the pump and hearing the oldtime "ding-ding". Using ethanol gas will eventually give you problems that you really don't want.

Learning how to use the pump was an experience though, not what you are used to. I'll always buy my gas there in the cart or in Brownwood when it is finished.

I have over 50,000 miles on my cart. Have used unleaded reg never had a problem. Why waste money?

After reading on TOTV that the new store/service center was open, I drove to Lake Sumter Landing just to take a look. Very impressive! The manager took me on a tour of the facility and was happy to answer my questions about service and sales.

I asked if I could get the air checked in my cart tires and one of the employees (Harvey) was happy to check the tires and top them off with air.

Great place!

You are confusing unleaded with non ethanol. You haven't been able to buy anything but non leaded for about 30 years now. Ethanol(made from corn)was added to our gas (10%) quite a few years ago to save gas(made from oil). It gives less performance and mileage since it doesn't have the same energy as pure gasoline and can cause long term damage in many engines.

You're right! Now I'm not sure if I paid $2.29 or $3.29, I was only looking at the .29 part on the pump. LOL

Per other posts, it appears Gordon Garage had a 'soft' opening before their big open. We dropped in a few days ago and filled up with non-ethanol gasoline and set an appointment for yearly routine service. I guess they'll service all carts as I told them we have an EZ Go gasoline cart. They were already booked a week ahead.

Believe me --you paid $3.29:sad:

How long before this price becomes more competitive? 2003 club car using corn gas and still going. Reason I bought gas cart was for range and since I pass reg stations, that is where I buy. I'm glad it is there for the purists

Yea the gas is $3.29 a gallon. If you don't want to pay it don't. Had both of my carts serviced the other day. Didn't have to want long. Nice waiting room, free coffee, TV, newspapers, vending machine and a very large showroom. Big improvement over the other shop and I didn't have to leave it in my driveway with the keys in the cup holder. The one in Brownwood should be ready in May from what we heard the other day.
