A secret surprise for those of you who want to check out a rodeo, cattle drive, entertainment, cracker food, cowboy, cowgirl demonstrations, etc.

It's a happening on Sat. Feb. 21 10 - 4 pm.

Hope some of you can enjoy a unique experience as I previously posted, so here are some details:

When: Feb. 21
Time: 10 - 4 pm
Where: Discovery Center/Tuscawilla Park
701 Northeast Sanchez Avenue - Ocala, 34470

THIS IS A FREE EVENT.

You can line up anywhere along the route on Main Street (SE/NE First Avenue) from about SE 4th Street to NE 5th Street (at the train station), OR… if you just wanna get settled in, come on down to Tuscawilla Park where you can line up along Sanchez to watch them cowboys bring the herd home and then join right in for a rip roarin’ fun time which gets underway jest as soon as the cows come home. Cattle drive travels through Downtown Ocala and ends at Tuscawilla Park with festivities all day long. Food, drinks, beer, wine, kid corral, music and numerous other activities.

am going to the CCW Ladies Fashion Show and Luncheon that day but this sounds like fun, too....maybe katie can get her horse ride in! :)

February is shaping up to be Equine month!

Then we have KITTY who is looking for boots. Glad I have my leather boots purchased in Texas a few years back. So impressed with a long skirted, elegant older lady I saw in Goliad, I also bought a long skirt, jacket combo in Texas. Maybe I'll wear it! Hard to find leather boots made in U.S., just about all from China...and finally got my leather boots, made in Mexico!
"Those boots were made for walking".

i've got a stetson hat and a suede fringed jacket and this would be the perfect place to wear them....darn! from my montana days :)
