Happy New Year! Here's a good tire safety tip to start the year off right! It is recommended that your tires be replaced if they are older than 5 years. A quick way to check the date is to look at the DOT # on the side of the tire. The last 4 digits show the date in weeks, then year. I agree. You can't just look at tread depth to determine if the tire is OK.
