Villages Seasons

Hey Villagers. Would you mind identifying the seasons and when they run for me? What I mean is the snowbird season, spring break season, summer, Christmas, etc., and the duration.

Thanks!

Seasonal owners start returning in the fall when it gets cold up north. They usually depart by mid to end of May. The most congested time of the year in TV is January through March when the renters arrive

Don't forget lovebug season!

I kinda relate the love bugs and the snow birds. When the love bugs are gone in the fall, the snow birds come. When the snow birds leave in the spring, the love bugs show up. And the cycle repeats.

High season. First of January to end of March.
Snowbird season. November through April
Frog (here 'til we croak) season. April through November
Lovebug season. April and September
Hurricane season. June 15 to First of December
Rainy season. All summer
Christmas season. From Thanksgiving through first week of Jan. (at our house)
Busy season and waiting season and uber complaining season. now.

Sorry, not being a villager yet, I'm still working on the terminology. I get the snow birds, but what are the love bugs?

They are a plethora of little insects who only have mating on their minds, never bite you....but fly united and then die....and get their little messy bodies all over everything, especially your car.

Their bodies are acidic and if left on one's vehicle will eat away its paint. http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf77073252.tip.html

One needs to get them out of the vehicle's radiator, too.

In the seventies my aunt and uncle in Winterhaven mounted screens on the front of their cars but the above link reveals how folks protect their cars these days.

LOL, I knew what the original love bugs were, but I thought you guys were talking about another group of people, like snow birds. I was thinking is was some people coming down to rent and mate. "face slap"
