At this moment, north of KC at 1:24pm (CST) it's 23* and a wind at 25mph. That's brrrr. :cold::cold::cold:

At this moment in Chicago it has warmed up to 6 with a wind chill of minus 15 AND it is snowing and blowing. We listed our house this week so next step is to be a frog in our brand new home in Lake Deaton if we don't freeze in the meantime.

It's 0 degrees here in Adrian, Michigan with -18 degrees wind chill!!! It warmed up a bit. It was colder this morning!

We are now in TV and are currently enjoying this balmy 50 degree day!

Nashville, it's warmed up to 25. On my way to work, it was 4. They closed my daughter's school, because the buses wouldn't start.

In Newport Beach it is currently 72F at 12:30 pm.

I' beginning to thinking about summering here, but wintering in Brazil, Aruba, Belize. You know, one of those places south of Key West.

ssmith 01-08-2015 04:40 PM

still up north

I am still in Indiana visiting with kids until Monday. We have had minus 28 with windchill and it has warmed all the way up to 2 degrees today!!

Just makes me more thankful and looking forward to getting back to The Villages.

BTW it does not help that my hubby has already returned!!!

It could be worse.

One of our coldest winters on record, with some record lows being set.

Think how much worse it would be if it weren't for the blessing of Global Warming. :censored:

I think it fair to point out that they don't share our amenities, golf, our pools, clubs, rec centers etc.etc.

I am not being mean. That is why this forum is so helpful to those who aspire to live here. It clarifies what is and what is not offered.

He could have a senior in high school who is 18. I am sure that everyone knows that kids under19 can only visit 30 days in a year.
