cataract surgery

I am planning to have cataract surgery in the near future.

I am looking into Dr. Panzo at mid Florida eye center.

What was your experience with the doctor and the eye center?

They offer, for extra cost per eye, anti-glare and high definition lens.

Is it worth extra cost?

I had cataract surgery at Mid Fl Eye in Dec. with Dr Panzo. Great experience. My vision now 20/20. Surgeries were painless. Lots of eye drops. I did get the anti glare lenses. Don't know how it would be without them. PM me with any question or if you want to hear my experience. Lol.

I suggest you look into Lake Eye. I had mine done there with no complaints and 'm very Happy

Medicare and private insurances will pay for 2nd and 3rd opinions. Get those opinions from ophthalmologists that have experience in many IOLs. Get as many as you need to be comfortable with your choice.
The terms "anti-glare" and "high-definition" are advertising fluff. You will be looking at Accommodating, Mono-focal, Multi-focal, and Toric lenses. I would suggest you read Dr David Richardson's book for some good background information.
