TOTV advice and 2 new permanent threads
 

How do you subscribe to a thread?
Once you subscribe when you open TOTV does it look any different?

These are the two new threads I want to start and keep in place on TOTV.

1] Pet Finders
If anyone else would like to help find missing pets please subscribe to the Pet Finders thread.
I don't have a pet but if, when I opened TOTV I got a notice that a pet was missing in my village or nearby I'll help. Pet owners who need help ASAP would list where it was last seen, time, name and anything else that might be useful. It might be a good idea to take a photo of your pet when you join.

2] On-line Shows
These are shows that you can watch on-line. like Sting click here
My laptop is connected to my TV. I find interesting shows on-line that I would like to share and maybe review. Other subscribers would add links to shows they enjoyed.


If both of these ideas already exist then point me in the right direction.

I think Live Chats would be a good addition to ToTV.

Both individual and group chats.

If you click the drop down 'Thread Tools' you can mark and manage those threads and you can receive notices on any new posts or updates to those threads. TOTV will look the same when you log in.

This is something we are actually working on.

Where is the drop down called thread tools? I see Home to Log Out and Golf Cart...to Contractor...

"thread Tools" is in every post and thread on the site when your logged in..

For example… if your logged in right now.. just scroll up to the first post in this thread at the top ( it was by you..."tomwed").. you will see just above it in green (options with drop downs)… you will see thread tools.. Hope this helps…

I also signed up for instant notifications just to try it out.
Don't you think this would be helpful for a Pet Finders thread?
My theory is that when a pet goes missing the sooner the group is notified the sooner they take action and the more likely the pet will be found.
