A place for a small meeting?

Am in need of a place for 10-15 people to meet once every other month on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. north of 466. The recreation centers are all booked up and country club restaurants require everyone to buy food. Any ideas?

If the rec centers are full, I'm afraid you're probably stuck with someone's home or a restaurant. Maybe the belvedere Library has a meeting room?

If there are only 10 - 15 people and you're only meeting once every 2 months, couldn't that be done in someone's home ? That's not that many people.
If it works, you could take turns so each person would only have to do it less than once a year.

Check with the churches

Panera has a nice private meeting area that I'm sure couldn't be completely booked.

You might try the community center in Wildwood.

Dunkin Donuts - near the Hospital on 441

Many of the Medicare Insurance companies use that facility. They have a wall mounted TV for speakers to use for Powerpoint presentations, etc. Of course, you may also get an AARP free donut with the purchase of a coffee.

South of 466 is Paneras with a meeting room for small groups.

Most restaurants require you to buy something. We had a meeting at Panera and we all had to buy something so we bought coffee and a breakfast sandwich and some got a bagel.

The library on Parr drive has a meeting room, check with them.

I've also seen group meetings held in the smaller dining room at Golden Corral on 466. There's a door so the room can be closed off from the larger dining area.

Have it at your home is my advice.

Nice folding card table chairs, not expensive and fairly storable. That is the answer to many a dilemma.

We often had as many as thirty people in our Gardenia in Hadley.

By the time you use the kitchen and/or the dining room chairs and the existing seating, you won't need many folding chairs to seat 15 people... Coffee, Iced tea, pop, and some cookies and you have the bones for a nice meeting. Even if you had it every month....but someone else will volunteer. You wait and see. No biggy.

Maybe a church in that area has a room you can use?

Exactly where I was thinking also. Wouldn't be terribly expensive for everyone to buy a cuppa and a donut? Its a very nice large room with good parking facilities.
