TracFone will not power up
 

I charged my wife's LG500G TracFone last night. Something I do every three weeks since she does not really use it. When I went to turn it on to check it out, it would not turn on. I upgraded my LG500G TracFone so I am not using it anymore. I switched batteries and charged hers up with my battery and still no go. I put her battery in my TracFone and charged it and it powered up.

I was wondering if I switched the SIM cards, would my old TracFone be registered as her TracFone so I don't have to buy a new TracFone?

Switching Sims cards will NOT work,

My husband's phone powers on when you lift the top, but also has another switch that turns the phone totally on or off.

Thanks. I should have looked on the internet before I asked.

I will work with TracFone to see what I can do. Probably buy another LG500G.
