We bought today...
 

Thanks to all of you wonderful folks on TOTV who have helped with our househunting journey and saga this week. Today we found a home in Amelia. It is less than a year old and barely lived in.

Mr. Jojo (aka Bob) is staying in Ohio for a year to transition his business. My mother will be moving down with us in mid-July.

Will revisit the threads on moving (PODS etc.) I did a search on pools as we want to add one. If anyone has a recent experience to add, I would be interested. T&D seems to have the most positive reviews. We also want to enclose the lanai and add slider doors to the pool area.

I hope to meet many of you at Crispers when we arrive and thank you all personally.

I am so happy to hear your news. Selfishly I am glad to hear too that you are near us in Hadley! I can't wait to meet you all soon.

We are coming down on Wednesday to inhabit the house for a couple weeks. We were going to return in one week because our oldest daughter is accompanying us, and she needs to get back. We are sending her back on the plane and staying a bit longer. Hope to be at Crispers.

Will you be staying for Crispers? We missed it last time because we were signing on the dotted line.

I am so GLAD you found your place in Paradise.

Thanks again to the many well wishers - another affirmation that we are moving to the friendliest home town in America.

To answer the question about pickleball--have never played but hope to learn. I would like to find some tennis players - more social than competitive tennis. I like round robin type play.

We go back to Ohio tomorrow to pack and/or sell 37 years of stuff. Daunting to say the least...

We hope to join the " We bought today" club next week. We sold our house in Michigan and will be in TV next week on a Life Style package to buy. I hope there are some left for for us. Do you think we can do it all in a week? We plan to move in during July. We are ready! We have been reading the threads for months and has been a great help to get ready. Thanks everyone.
