Golf Grips

Does anyone know someone or some place that will put on new grips on my set of clubs? I already have ordered the grips. I just need to get them put on. Thanks.

Very easy to do; I've put hundreds on in the last 5 years. If you have Internet, get on you tube and look at the videos. If I was there, I would do them for you; probably won't be there until May.

I put my own on. Bought a kit for about $17.00 at Dick's and it included everything except a vise which I had. It also included simple instructions. I used a basic knife with replaceable blades (any hardware store) to remove old grips (which proved the most onerous part of the procedure).

My vise is a basic attached bench vise.

Dick's would have charged $3.00 each but I assume that is if the grips are purchased there.

Need more details? Just PM me.

Just done mine about month ago. As stated not that hard. If you do it be care cutting the old grips off! Very easy slip and cut you. I didn't have vise, I just sliced them and skin them like skinning squirrel holding the club with my feet. Mine was real old and was in storage over the summer which dry rotted them. Came off pretty easy. Grip kit make installation very easy (precut tape and slick'em to slip the new grips on.

I got one of them hugh putter grips and really like it. Shops will charge labor rate doing the grips, I'd guessing 3 buck piece good deal if you can find place that cheap. I would expect to pay more at pro-shop. IMO if you can't put them on yourself probably not going to save much due to the labor rate, but I never had them installed I always done it myself?

I have done several and use one of these blades in a utility knife. Much safer!

In case anyone is interested, Jim's Golf will install your grips for $2.00 each. That's the best deal I found.
