Please recommend an orthopedic doctor

Who would you recommend for full knee replacement . thinking of using Dr Kerina

Excellent choice! If I had to have ortho surgery, I would definitely choose a Dr. from Tri-County Ortho.

Hopefully by then they will have figured out how to handle patient scheduling. An hour plus wait is not unusual, sometimes longer. bring a book and figure there may not be enough seats in waiting room. Don't expect anyone to apologize for keeping you waiting well past your scheduled appointment. Lastly, don't have them send you to Arbor Village for re-hab.

And before you decide you might want to read the threads on here about Dr. Nyugen, who receives excellent reviews.

Karinas known, allowance and continuation of complete lack of regard for poor sheduling and disregard for the human element of standing room only and 1-2 hour delays is UNACCEPTABLE.

I sought him for a second opinion and he was 2 1/2 late. No apology from the nurse or the doctor. When I asked at the office on the way out were they having a bad day schedule wise. She asked me why. I mentioned the 2 1/2 hour delay. She said we were lucky and that was a good day!!!!

And because this practice is known far and wide is confirmation it is condoned by the doctors.

I was also not impressed, during my research, when I discovered it is not unusual for Karina to NOT visit with the patient post surgery, due to schedule.

To each his/her own but No thanx....wrong patient attitude for me.

I'm very pleased with the results of my TKR done by Dr. Duke. From other threads, it sounds like Dr. Nyugen is very good also.

From my experience, Dr. Steve Nguyen is a great choice. His technique is less invasive, allowing for quicker recovery time with minimal pain. I consulted more than one doctor before making my choice, and I felt the most comfortable with Dr. Nguyen, his PA, and his process and track record.
He sees patients in The Villages on Fridays. His number is 407-355-3120. I am sure there will be a relatively long wait time prior to surgery, but his services are well worth the wait. Good Luck and do the rehab!!!

I would recommend Dr James Duke in ocala. He did my total replacement on 12/4 and at 8 weeks, I am golfing, playing water volleyball and slowly getting back to pickleball. He has done over 7,500 replacements. He does not cut muscle or tendons.

My experience with Tri-County was not good. I went for a consult on a shoulder replacement and the response was come back in seven years when you are 70, you are too young now. WRONG, obviously I went elsewhere.
