Room available for VA Intern
 

Hello
I am a middle aged woman who will have a guest room available May 1st. 2015 for a VA Intern. I am 1.9 miles from the VA clinic. I am quiet and keep a clean house. I have a small non shedding doggie that lives with me and I babysit other dogs occasionally. The rental price is $500 a month with a shared bathroom. You should call the VA at Mulberry and ask for the ophthalmology Dept. I've gone there about five times the last two years for various reasons and an intern has been the person you first see. I believe they usually come from colleges in California or Indiana, so they may not see this board.

Thanks for that info. I did call there to give my name, etc. and they told me the interns have to secure their own housing and they will not be the go between. You are correct and I have even contacted the various colleges and received the same reply. I saw an intern advertising on here, so that is why I gave this a shot.
