The annual orgy of self-congratulations by Hollywood's liberal elite was a total bomb this year (obviously, in my not so humble opinion!)

When I think of Clint Eastwood on stage and contrast that in my mind with a nearly naked Neil Patrick Harris standing there like an idiot in his underpants, well…way to go! barf

The snubbing of a HUGE (conservative) blockbuster, American Sniper, was also predictable.

Is there no limit to what some folks will turn into a politician topic...

Unbelievable...

The cons see a liberal boogeyman everywhere except fox news. Maybe we need the Liberal Oscars and the Conservative Oscars.

Oh come on. It is a well known fact Hollywood is very Liberal politically. What did you expect?

Yes predictable. That's also why 4 of us are going to see it again for the 2nd time. Clint is laughing all the way to the bank because, unlike most of the garbage Hollywood produces, he makes movies people actually want to see

conservative Oscars would be very short. it would consists of convicted felon dinesh dsouza movies, clint eastwood movies, and documentaries of mitt Romney losing. I personally prefer the Romney movies.

Liberals creative? That is funny. Liberals just wait around for someone to spoon feed them what to say. If they can't come up with something, they just call you a racist...

or they switch the subject back to what they want to talk about
Or they restate what one says to facilitate a point they want to make (or are allowed to talk about).

Or they quote scientific facts and support issues that most Americans agree with only to be countered with talking points from faux news and other right wing propaganda outlets. Right wingers (not all conservatives BTW) can't open their mouths until Limbaugh, Coulter, and Hannity tell them what to say.

The rightards minds and opinions have been bought and paid for by Rupert Murdoch, Grover Norquist, Rex Sinquefield, Sheldon Adelman, the Koch boyz, and all the other puppet masters who are willing to spend fortunes to get lower tax rates for themselves and get rid of those pesky regulations that protect us all, but impact their bottom line. They have even succeeded in getting the sheep to call them job creators where they used to be referred to as robber barons. They also have succeeded in getting a majority in the SCOTUS so they can openly buy congress and state legislatures.

Really enjoyed American Sniper. Did not consider it political. Probably would have won an Oscar except for that fake baby.
