AARP United Health and secondary Health Care Plan
Hello all,
I know someone on here will know the answer to this. I have a choice of adding my spouse to my new medical plan (I still work). He is on AARP United Health. If I add him to my health plan (my out of pocket cost is incredibly low for this - great company), will that become his secondary plan? Does anyone else do that? I am planning for future - he does need to go to a lot of specialists once we get to the villages and just want to make sure we don't have too many out of pocket expenses, so if I can cover those through a secondary plan that would be great. It's hard to find someone to consult with as to what is best to do in this situation. Any advise would be appreciated. Pat and Bill |
If you add him to your policy, that would his primary and the AARP/UHC Medicare Advantage would be secondary.

I think you should call your plan and ask. AND he should call AARP United Health and ask. Be safe and careful!
