When we see copyrighted material we will delete. We would need specific permission from the copyright holder to post copyrighted material in the forums.

Rather than posting copyrighted material, post a link to where others can see it.

I see some avatars that I'm pretty sure are copyrighted material. Are they exempt?

Nope.

Please, folks, if you have lifted your avatar picture from someplace on the web, please know that it is copyrighted. Unless the site gives you permission to use it, you should not.

Dream up your own avatar and take a stab at creating it, or have a friend create it.

Don't get us busted for copyright violations.
