Friday, June 27..... Happy Retirement Day to Village Kid. Today is her last day as an employee in the Florida State Government. Welcome to the (retirement) club.

Now, you can head to your home in TV and live this wonderful lifestyle all the time. No more long weekend trips back and forth to Tally town.

Dancing, bongos, impromptu lunches, pool time, golf, and new honey await you.

Congratulations on a long and productive career. Now, the real fun starts!!!

VK, congratulations on your retirement!!

My last day is Monday June 30th and I plan to join the ranks of the sleep late slackers. I know that won't happen, but I can dream. I have also booked myself onto the TV cruise. That's actually pretty bold step for me. I will be down the middle of August for a short visit--I hope to go to Crispers for the August get together, and perhaps we can celebrate. Hope to meet you soon--congratulations again.

Md Blondie, congrats to you as well! We will definitely all celebrate in August. I have met some great folks and developed wonderful friends through TOTV and there are lots more that I know online but have yet to meet! What a great group of folks!

Just a funny aside - a fellow worker asked what kind of cake I wanted for the office retirement party and I told her yellow cake with cream cheese icing and sarcastically added, put something on it like Happy Trails to You. That's exactly what I got! LOL But it was delicious and a great party!

Look forward to seeing everyone soon! Glad to join the TV party that started long ago!! :bigthumbsup:
