Applebees

Lived here in The Villages for more than seven years and have never had a group or friend suggest going to Applebees. Why is that? Access? or something else?

DougB 03-21-2015 09:56 PM

What's wrong with the access?

Perhaps because it is located on the historic side where some folks are loathe to venture? Too many good restaurants south of 466? Your friends might be put off by the decibel level of noise that can sometimes seem disruptive? Menu?

Applebee's = bad food. Nationwide

Appleby's isn't on the Historical side but it is above 466.

There are many good restaurants above 466. Glenview CC - Nancy Lopez to name a couple.

I think Applebee's gives great value. They have an extensive menu and inexpensive options. We often go to Applebee's for dinner as the restaurant is close by and the service is quick. :)

We've been to Applebee's on Bichara Blvd several times. It's decent restaurant. Good food, reasonable prices and good service. They also have a lot of very good specials.

The highest beer prices in the villages. Stopped there once and the beer cost over five dollars for a ten ounce glass of domestic.

I know one of the cooks there personally. His nails are never clean. That's enough to keep me out of there.

Couldn't you personally ask said cook to clean up his act?

I could, but I do my best to never talk to him. He's a big boy and knows his issues and he ain't my son.
