Headlight Restoration

If anyone is looking into Headlight Restoration - stop by Markets of Marion - Jeff Berry. Our headlights were very cloudy - 2003 car. Check out the attached picture - the headlights are like new! Service was excellent and it comes with life time maintenance if needed. We were very impressed.

you can try doing it yourself using toothpaste, which is a mild abrasive

won't be as good as a professional restoration, of course, but will give you brighter headlights

3 M makes a great kit for several applications, $13

the guys at the Market are not cheap R they?

what did they charge?

Had our headlights restored at Market of Marion. Don't recall the price but it was worth every penny. Had attempted to do it ourselves but all our efforts failed to make much improvement.

The current cost is $25 a lens and he will fix it again for life if needed. On our 13 year old BWM a factory replacement was over $300.

Is this the booth that you drive up to about half way down on the right side of the market? I know there is also one in on the first row of the market on the left. They also sell golf car related items.

I want to make sure we go to the right place.

I've used the do it yourself kits on my car, and its for a month or so, but clouds back up. Time to call a pro.

Comparative pricing

First of all I AM NOT CURRENTLY IN THE VILLAGES. That being said, I was in Houston Texas visiting my Son, we went to Sam's for tires, a person working in the tire section asked if he was interested in getting his headlights restored. Price was $30 for both. Then today, not in Texas but I am up North, a friend said he had a car done at a body shop for $30. They sanded the plastic lens' with 600 grit, then 1200 grit then polished the scratches out and then painted with clear coat. He said they turned out fantastic, his Sister also has had her Lexus done with the same results. The advantage a body shop has is the clear coat paint. He also told me that Sams and Cosco both offer this service. (I know we don't have a Costco).

It is to the right as you go in, the second or third aisle down. We paid $25 per headlight and they were like new. We had tried a kit and did not get good results. I'd say $25 is a fair price for a good job!

Headlight Restoration

I used this product a couple of months ago and it worked fine...

Headlight Restoration | Headlight Cleaner

Available at Advance Auto Parts. About $25.

Took about 30 minutes.

Hello, right at the fork and first left. He has a tent that says Headlight Restoration where you will pull your car under. Jeff Berry - 352-266-3395. It was well worth it and we never have to worry about headlights fogging up again.

The advantage with Jeff (if you live in The Villages) is that you can stop by anytime for a quick polish at no cost. He stamps your card so he knows you were a customer. He recommends a polish with car wax monthly to keep the lights in good shape (sun damage causes the cloudiness) but stopping by his booth is a good alternative if you happen to be near the market. Very friendly - quick service - his prices on display on a big sign in the tent. No hidden costs.

Thank you! That's the one I'm thinking of.
