McDonald's " ice cream??"
 

Had the ice cream tonight and it's not the same. The creamy, white vanilla ice cream is now a dull almost yellowish color and tasted more like ice milk. Hope they change the ice cream back to the way it was!

This sudden change could be caused by the air tube that goes into the ice cream machine hopper was not properly placed or not in the machine at all. The lack of the air tube can cause a yellowish ice cream/ice milk as well as some icy tendencies.

If you went to the location at Colony on 466A, their machine was down Sunday. Possibly as others have stated, mix is not properly being done. Please Call them by all means so they know. Can't beat their price on a Hot Fudge Sundae - $1.39 including tax.

Good idea! Now I have an excuse to eat another hot fudge sundae!

Burger King has a good sundae too. They have a strawberry sundae . Their sundaes are $1.00 plus tax and I think the container is larger than McDonalds.

If the machine has frozen up then the mixture turns icy like an ice milk. IF they're trying to save money and make more profit they can change the mix they are buying and it will also cheapen the flavor and texture and make it like an ice milk.

I never liked Micky's ice cream. Like it's not cold and looks like the crack filler you get in the can that foams up. If I want Ice Cream around here I go to Sonic or Steak and Shake! To bad Dairy Queen not in the villages, I bet it would really do good with the make over.

Ditto......can't understand why the old one didn't do well. I wish they would give it another try. I have a feeling DQ will be a thing of the past soon. We went to MT Dora and on our way was a DQ.....of course we had an ice cream!

In my heaven, there will be a DQ on every corner. One of my favorite menu items is the Buster Bar Parfait. Of course, my Heaven also has elastic pants.
