This link states in the second paragraph: "Genes can't control an organism on their own; rather, they must interact with and respond to the organisms environment.

Here you go: Impact of yesterday's genes and today's diet and chemicals on tomorrow's women.

One of the latest breakthroughs.

Genetically Re-engineered Polio Virus Might Cure Brain Cancer

Salk is using re-engineered AIDs virus in research on Cystic Fibrosis.

Francis Crick who unlocked the double helix worked at Salk until he died. I was fortunate to meet him.

Here is some research that you will like VPL; http://www.salk.edu/cng/

So far I don't see anything to refute the information presented in the above links. No one's happy to learn that, for the most part, "Genes are not our destiny"? We are in control of our destiny. Hurray!!!!

Let's think positive and be happy that we have control over our health.

So you want others to do the research for you with 5 PHD's no problem I'll do that just for you. Just hang on a minute............

I don't need others to do the research for me. I have undergrad degrees in physiology and zoology. Along the way that included 4 higher level course in genetics.

I watched the 60 Minutes segment that discussed injecting the polio virus into brain cancer. Am fascinated with the results. Lost mom & sister to cancer; hope same concept can be applied to cancers showing up in other parts of the body. Made me wonder how/why they came up with this particular approach. Very exciting breakthrough!

Here's a radical theory...how about we are affected by both our genes and our environment. Well, maybe not so radical...99% of humanity already knows that.
