Oxygen Tanks

I'm flying my father-in-law down at the end of the month and he uses oxygen with a regulator. Where would I go to get oxygen tanks in the area? Thank you.

There is a good chance the company your Dad uses at home has a local TV office. Many companies are national. If that is the case he can make arrangements to have whatever he needs delivered to your home.

Otherwise try Lincare in Leesburg. They are a national company with a good reputation. Before your Dad arrives, find out if a prescription is needed. Your Dad may need to being one with him.

I have seen 2-3 respiratory companies in the area, they handle oxygen, CPAP, and other breathing equipment, try Google.

My choice is NewAir Home Care Inc. Excellent customer service! Phone#1-866-563-9247. I would suggest you stay away from American Home Patient; I found their service to be sub-standard.

I have used American Home Patient for well over a year and have never had any problems with them. They call every month and ask if I need anything.

Have him bring his prescription for o-2 with him. Lincare has an office in Fruitland park. They serve the Villages. I know because I was a service rep for years and also worked from that office before being injured and retiring.

A Lincare Rep told me that office closed (in the Rae, Rae's/Confessore Plaza on 441), but do have an office in Leesburg.
