I wonder what Is the purpose of listing, North of 466, Between 466 and 466 A, etc on the classified items for sale. I believe if I were interested in an article in the Villages, I would not mind driving a few miles! Maybe I'm missing something!

So people have a better idea of where an item is for sale :)

I don't think I would want to drive 45 minutes for something that may not be that important to me but I might drive 10 minutes or less for that same item.

45 minutes? I assume you mean by golf cart.

I think it's a good idea to know about where an item is located. Some don't want to drive let's stay from the Northern end of town (let's say 441) to the southern end of town (perhaps Brownwood) to retrieve an item. Why waste the sellers time if it's too far to drive in the first place.

I agree, while it might not be a full 45 minutes from the south end to the North end through traffic could take a good half hour. Not being familiar with most of the areas on the Northern end also has to be taken into consideration. If an item is just up the block or just a couple of Villages over I would be much more likely to buy it.
