Eye exam and glasses.

We need a good quality place to get eye glasses. One that won't hold a gun to our heads and charge the price of a new car. Thanks

My recommendations are ... Peepers in Colony Plaza, Hind-Sight in Pinellas Plaza or Eye-Site down by the new Publix across from Brownwood. They all have a good selection. I have had glasses made at both Peepers and Hind-sight. They both stand behind their works and always are very helpful if you need an adjustment from loosening over time.

I concur with the Peepers in Colony Plaza.

Just used Eye-Site, very pleased.

After getting your eye exam and your prescription take it to Wal Mart. I did this a year ago and was very happy with the price and quality.

Wal Mart did mine. Very good job.

peepers will have your new glasses ready in one business day. I don't thinj Walmart can do that.

Peepers did not have my glasses ready in one day. It was more like a week. Maybe if you don't need bifocals with no lines in them?

Wow. That seems unusual for them. I usually have my progressive lenses ready in a day or two. I bet they had breakage and had to start again.

Could be. I was surprised, but didn't think much of it because they weren't promised to me in a short time. This was almost three years ago. Maybe they've gotten a shorter turnaround since then.

I had my exam last Thursday and got a call the following Monday afternoon that my progressives were ready. Not dissatisfied with the length of time, just passing along my experience at Peepers in Colony Plaza.

My sister and I had a good experience at Eye site while she was in town a few weeks ago. Pleasant folks in there.... The optical fella was very helpful and patient.
