Who needs Bed Sheets

I've just gone through my linen closet and have a couple of trash bags filled with towels and bed sheets. Do you know of any animal shelter that needs them? I'd be happy to drop them anywhere.
Thanks
Sue Henry

There is a loosely affiliated group of ministers who receive clothing, sheets, etc and make them available to the homeless vets and families in the Ocala National Forest. If I can come up with their org's name I will edit this post to include it.

Try New Beginnings in Clermont. Their phone is 800.789.7717 or info@nbcfl.org

The Fabric Fun Arts & Crafts Club here in The Villages makes dog beds and cat hammocks for the Marion County Animal Shelter. They also use donated materials for other charity projects. Contact the group leader Micki MacCumbee at 350-6853.

The above info was taken from a 4/1/2015 article in the Daily Sun.

The Buffalo Ridge Vet Hospital accepts donations of towels, sheets, dog food, leashes, etc.
If you want to call them the telephone # is 352-750-4711.
On Mondays only, they also accept newspaper and aluminum cans.
The Crafts Club that makes dog beds and cat hammocks sounds like an even better idea!
Thank you Sue - for thinking of the animals in shelters. :doggie:
