Stuff sticking to garage floor clear coat
A week ago I had a local company apply a garage epoxy floor to my new TV home. I was told by the person applying the epoxy that the only substance that would harm the new floor was battery acid, I have an electric golf cart. I went out and purchaced an outdoor mat with a PVC backing to protect the floor. I have found that the mat PVC backing and the garage roll up screen seal adhereing to the clear coat. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.......thanks

Heavens knows I am not a garage expert. Hopefully Mr. Mucci will jump in here. However, I am just guessing that it has been very humid there and the epoxy has not thoroughly dried. (Cured)

Re: Stuff sticking to garage floor clear coat
I was talking to some painters yesterday. They told me the paint was "touchable" after one hour but actually takes 28 days to completely cure. Epoxy supposedly takes a bit longer to cure. You can drive on it ("touch it") but you can't put something like a rubber-backed rug or mat down for at least two months without it sticking. Sorry.
